Our inserts are custom-designed insoles that are created to fit the unique shape of your feet. They provide enhanced support and comfort, reducing pressure on sensitive areas. For individuals with diabetes, these inserts can help alleviate foot pain, prevent ulcers, and enhance overall foot health.

Heat mold inserts are designed to be molded to the shape of your feet using heat, providing a customized fit. On the other hand, custom mold inserts are created based on a 3D scan or impression of your feet, ensuring a precise and tailored fit to address specific foot conditions or abnormalities.

A continuous glucose monitor (CGM) is a small wearable device that tracks your blood sugar levels throughout the day and night. It provides real-time data, helping individuals with diabetes manage their condition more effectively by allowing them to make timely adjustments to their diet, insulin, and other medications.

Sensor lifespans vary depending on the model used. Dexcom G7 sensors can be worn for 10 days, while Abbott Freestyle Libre2 sensors can be worn for 14. When you receive your product, check the specific product details for information on sensor lifespan, and follow the manufacturer's guidelines for optimal usage.

During a diabetic shoe fitting, a certified specialist will conduct a complete foot evaluation, taking into account any unique features or conditions. After the evaluation, the fitter will discuss your specific needs, and recommend shoes that provide the necessary support and protection.

Our diabetic shoe fitters have certifications such as C.Ped (Certified Pedorthist) or CFts (Certified Fitter of Therapeutic Shoes). Each of our fitters is a specialist with training in foot anatomy, diabetic foot care, and footwear fitting. They have undergone specific courses to enhance their understanding of the unique needs of individuals with diabetes and are committed to providing expert guidance on selecting the right shoes for your condition.

Thanks to the Therapeutic Shoe Bill enacted by congress 1993, eligible Medicare Part B beneficiaries can receive coverage for one pair of diabetic shoes and 3 sets of custom-molded inserts per calendar year. This bill aims to prevent complications related to diabetes by promoting the use of appropriate footwear. Our diabetic shoe products are available for direct purchase if insurance reimbursement is not needed, but our CGM products always require a prescription.
